Background
AFTER
GRADUATING FROM ONE OF THE TOP LAW SCHOOLS IN THE COUNTRY, Kevan Benkowitz
spent the first part of his law career defending multi-billion dollar
retail and insurance companies. The unique knowledge and experience gained
in representing these businesses has positioned Mr. Benkowitz to be an
effective litigator and negotiator on behalf of individuals who are seeking
recovery for injuries caused by one of these companies or their insureds.
Mr. Benkowitz also has extensive trial experience, having tried numerous
cases to a jury.
Additionally, Mr. Benkowitz has a diverse business background, both personally
and professionally, which enables him to effectively represent small businesses. He
has assisted and counseled small businesses in the areas of business formation/dissolution,
dispute resolution and general business advice.
Mr. Benkowitz has also worked with individuals and families to plan for
the future and develop estate plans. This includes the drafting of wills,
powers of attorney, guardianship documents, and directives to physicians.
Honors
Selected as a “Rising Star” by Texas Monthly Magazine. Rising Stars are recognized as the top 2.5% of attorneys in Texas, under the age of 40, as elected by the “Texas Super Lawyers.”
